Today, we gathered in Chapel to celebrate the life of Will Matthews, who sadly died in March 2021.
The quintessential schoolmaster, Will was the heart and soul of Radley for more than 25 years. Whether in the Design Engineering workshop, in Social, on the rugby field, in Common Room, on trips abroad, taking Social Prayers, talking about the environment, organising sound systems, playing his guitar in the JCR or having a new idea, there was always an infectious energy, enthusiasm and zest about him. He remains sorely missed.
