The long-standing relationship between Radley Primary School and Radley College went up a gear last year with almost 50 Radley College boys supporting maths, reading, music, art, sport and academic enrichment at the Primary School on a weekly basis. The impact has been considerable.
The primary school’s tracking data shows ‘good’ or ‘better than good’ progress in phonics, and there are data points highlighting improvements to attainment and progress in art and music. More importantly, however, is the children’s attitude to learning. Radley College boys demonstrate increased resilience, communication skills and empathy, and as one boy said: “Teaching somebody else reinforces your own understanding”.
This film celebrates this mutually beneficial partnership by asking one simple question: ‘what have you learnt from me?’
