A University Supper was held at the Green House in Bristol on 5th March 2024 for young ORs studying at universities in Bristol and Bath, and those who call the West Country home.
A lively group gathered to enjoy beers and pizza in the company of some well-known dons and former dons, including Richard Greed, Tim Lawson, Kyle Willis-Stovold, Tom Deasy, and Dan Pullen.
Despite having only very recently left Radley, a number of the attendees said they were already missing the place, perhaps in particular because the rigours of academic study are now necessarily being balanced against cooking their own meals! However, they were all in excellent spirits, and it was marvellous to see such animated conversations around the pool table.
“It was a pleasure to catch up with a group of ORs currently studying at university in Bristol & Bath. Many are at varying points in their degree, studying a wide range of courses, but all are enjoying the life of a young undergraduate.
“The evening allowed us to discuss their transition from Radley into university life – how studying at university is evolving all the time, and what plans they are beginning to make for life after university (not to mention some reminiscing about their time at the college).” – Tim Lawson
