Our inaugural Symphonic Pops Concert showcased great talent across several music genres.
The dynamic coupling of orchestral and popular music was captivating. The night saw a full orchestra accompanied by various singers and bands delivering a musical showcase to remember. The concert featured hits spanning six decades of music, including “A Day in the Life” by the Beach Boys and “God Only Knows” by The Beatles. Our talented vocalists and musicians impressed the audience with renditions of hits by Metallica, Seal, and the Goo Goo Dolls, amongst others.
A highlight of the evening was the blend of DJing and Orchestra with a fantastic performance of Eric Prydz’s “Panjoo”. The concert concluded with the energetic rendition of “High Hopes” by Panic! At The Disco, sending the audience into a crescendo of applause.
Thanks to our Bands Night Team, talented boys, and dedicated staff who helped out on the night, the bar has been set high for future Symphonic Pops nights, as the musical ground has indeed been broken ahead of the refurbishment of Silk Hall!
