Our Chapel Choir joined forces with girls from Godolphin and Latymer School to sing Choral Evensong at Westminster Abbey.
Following an intensive day of rehearsals in Hammersmith, the choirs sang a beautiful service of music in the grand cathedral, led by Sam Gladstone, Precentor. The Head of Music at Godolphin commented:
“Thanks to your boys for truly outstanding singing – a rich, mature bass line and a frankly astonishingly capable tenor cohort, rarely heard in a teenage choir. And it was lovely to see the social confidence on all sides which developed through the afternoon and, by the end of the evening, it felt like we had to tear them apart!”
