We are proud to be part of the OX14 Learning Partnership, a collaboration of local state and independent secondary schools. Together, we champion innovation in Abingdon. Through our primary STEPS programme we provide enrichment for MAGT children, and our primary reading and maths mentoring projects offer additional, targeted support.
Music
We strive for a reality where every child enjoys an inspiring music education.
Alongside our community of 25 local primary and secondary schools, we bring unique and life enhancing musical experiences to local children and equip teachers with the confidence and capability to deliver outstanding music lessons every day of the year. Our boys benefit from shared experiences and by leading on musical activities; often in collaboration with renowned professional musicians.
Respect
We are deeply committed to single sex education but recognise the benefits of targeted and meaningful collaboration.
The Respect Project, our partnership with Downe House, an independent girls’ school, fosters friendship and respect through regular academic, social and co-curricular activities. The comradeship that has developed between the two schools allows pupils to debate significant societal issues, ensuring contrasting perspectives are heard, valued and respected.
Sport
We harness the power of sport to tackle injustice and raise aspiration.
Our strategic partnership with Active Oxfordshire aims to challenge health inequalities in the most economically deprived areas of our county by providing opportunities for children and young people to live a more active life. Our Young Sports Leaders lead targeted projects in schools, with charities and at Radley in pursuit of this lofty aim.

We believe contrasting contexts are a catalyst for friendship and symbiotic growth.
Shared values are the bedrock for our significant and growing partnership with Broadway Academy, a large state secondary school in Perry Barr, Birmingham. Regular and innovative academic, co-curricular and social collaboration rarely fails to highlight our similarities yet allows our boys to explore and celebrate their differences in a thoughtful way.
Countryside
We enjoy a unique rural location and use it to support local people who need a helping hand.
Our Countryside Centre is the hub for three core strands of partnership work: countryside-based alternative provision for teenagers on the cusp of exclusion from school, programmes of mental and physical health rehabilitation for charities working with the disabled and supported people, and the engagement in rural education for local primary schools. The growth of our programme for Radleians will prepare our boys to lead and assist these exciting and important projects.
International
We prepare our boys for a global world; broadening awareness of cultural differences and international development challenges.
Our developing global student exchange programme complements a partnership with the Commonwealth Education Trust, which helps to build an understanding of learning poverty and the role education plays in pursuit of growth.
Community
We play an active role in our local area, harnessing the power of community to a real difference.
Through our community partnership programme, we work alongside local charities on special projects that make Radley and the surrounding areas a better place to live and work. Boys and staff work hand-in-hand with local people, contributing to the unity between the College and our neighbours.
