The Warden is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Wood (H, 1996) as Tutor of H Social from September 2023.⁠

⁠Nick came to Radley as a boy in 1996 where he flourished as a rugby player. He represented England at A, Under 21 and Under 19 levels and spent fifteen years as a professional at Gloucester retiring at the end of the 2015/16 season as their most capped player and the first to play 200 Premiership games for the club. ⁠

He returned to Radley in 2016 to take over from his mentor and friend, Richard Greed, as Master in Charge of Rugby. Away from Bigside, Nick teaches History and has a particular interest in the first half of Europe’s twentieth century. ⁠

We wish Nick, his wife Kate and their three children the best when they move into H Social in September.
