A University Supper was hosted by RadSoc at The Stand Off in Exeter on 26th November 2024 for young ORs studying at universities in Exeter and the southwest. One attendee even made the valiant journey up from Cornwall to join the party!
We were delighted to welcome over 35 young ORs for the evening, along with some well-known dons. Many of those who attended are just starting their university careers, while others, despite having left Radley several years ago, were keen to celebrate their connection to the College and reconnect with fellow ORs.
Attendees shared stories about their time at university, recounting plenty of highs and the occasional low. While their individual experiences of living and studying might differ, many expressed a shared nostalgia for Radley’s delicious food and its conscientious housekeeping staff. Balancing the demands of an academic course with cooking for oneself and managing laundry is not for the faint of heart!
After initial greetings and news were exchanged over a few pints, the group tucked into burgers and fries. Later, the evening evolved beyond the venue’s walls to explore Exeter’s nightlife.
