We are looking for a full-time teacher to join the Academic Support department, for 41 hours per week: 8am-6pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays, 8am-3.30pm Wednesdays & Fridays (term-time only) plus INSET days. Where exeats or leave away impact Monday teaching it is expected that time will be made up during the following week or offset against attendance at INSETs.
The successful candidate will primarily be expected to provide:
- short 1:1 support sessions to boys from Years 9,10 & 11 as they work towards their GCSEs ·longer 1:1 support sessions for Sixth Form pupils
- individual and group sessions for EAL pupils, including IELTs preparation
Previous experience in SEN and an EAL teaching qualification (e.g. TEFL) are not essential but would be advantageous.
