How To Be More Successful In Your Life And Career

On Wednesday evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming Oli Christie (1984, D), CEO of Neon Play and Executive and Personal Coach, to our online ‘Beyond Radley’ event. Oli is renowned for his expertise in helping individuals achieve balance and fulfilment in their lives.

Oli’s talk emphasized the importance of regular self-evaluation and the value of cultivating good habits. He led participants through an exercise using a life wheel, encouraging them to reflect on their satisfaction levels in various aspects of their lives, such as career, family, physical health, and adventure. Following this exercise, Oli provided insightful advice on setting and prioritising goals for the coming year.

Drawing from his own experiences as a company founder, Oli also discussed the unique challenges faced by entrepreneurs. His reflections offered deep insights into what success truly means, providing attendees with valuable tools to plan for a more fulfilling future.

The event was expertly compered by Blake (6.1, A), a current Radley student. Blake posed several pertinent questions regarding the future of work in the age of AI and maintaining a healthy work-life balance, especially in high-pressure jobs.

We extend our thanks to Oli for his inspiring talk and practical advice and to Blake for his excellent management of the event and his insightful questions.

The secret is to establish your goals, and decide what you want out of life.
